Comments: We would recommend Live Wires to anyone looking for a band who are friendly, professional, lively and who have a song selection suitable for all occasions. Live Wires played at our wedding in March and arrived on time, were very polite and made every effort to ensure we were having a great time. They managed to set up in such a professional manner that we hardly knew they were there, despite the venue being a large open plan marquee.
They were considerate to our needs and our guests and the music reflected this. We provided a list of our favourite songs from the playlist but left the music choice thereon for Live Wires to play and they really adapted each song to the mood of our guests.
We have had so many comments from our guests both on our wedding day and after, saying that Live Wires were the best live band that they had ever heard at a wedding (some of our guests having been to hundreds of other weddings) and wanting to know their playlist. The dance floor was packed all night and we have never seen so many people up dancing at a wedding for such a long period. We want to thank the band for their amazing performance and we wish them every success in the future.

Comments: I booked the band Live Wires from Alive Network and im so glad I did. Alive Network made it easy for us with plenty of bands to chose from. Booking the band we wanted was easy too so i would recommend Alive Network.
We booked Live Wires to play at our wedding on the 23rd July 2010 and I'm so pleased we did. The band were a great bunch of lads and boy, can they play. The vocals were awesome and sounded fantastic. Everyone at our wedding said that the band was amazing and would recommend them. I believe that they really did make our evening reception so special and come alive. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality band to play at any wedding or event.

Comments: The whole experience was brilliant. It was really minimal in terms of the effort we needed to put in to make the performance happen. The correspondance between myself and AliveNetwork was informal but frequent, and it was essential the responses were prompt. These completely were.
The band are a set of friendly, helpful, courteous and talented lads who obviously enjoy what they do. They were genuinely thankful for the booking and we were sad to see them leave as their performance was outstanding. They were loved by our guests.
The dance floor was absolutely jam-packed for the whole performance, and we even had people we never thought would dance having a good stint on the floor. We had a great night, and the performance from the Live Wires really helped ensure this.
If you can - book them!!!

Live Wires were also exceptional with their performance, presence and presentation. I really enjoyed them, as did my guests. They played "Can't take my eyes off you" by Andy Williams and it was the perfect first song and brought everyone onto the dance floor, the enthusiasm the band put into this song (and every other song) was outstanding.

Comments: Thanks for all your help organising and it was fantastic. Difficult venue to play because the bar is in a different room but the band were great and once everyone was suitably hydrated the dance floor was full.
I managed to have a few chats and a drink with the band on one of their breaks and they were fantastic with us and our guests and really enjoyed talking music with them.
They also made a special effort when leaving to say goodbye and thank you to my wife which was a nice touch. Very professional, excellent musicians and really got into the spirit of the night, I hope they enjoyed it.

Comments: Booking a band to play at your wedding is a big decision. Firstly, we would like to thank Alive Network for their excellent service throughout the booking.
Secondly, we would like to say a massive thank you to Live Wires who were excellent. The dance floor was packed from the first song until the last and everyone we've spoken to about our wedding has said just how much they enjoyed the band.
We were hopeful they would be good having listened to them online beforehand but there was still an element of uncertainty as for us the band were a huge part of the evening.
We loved their performance and they all seemed like nice guys. The evening reception started late which impacted the band's start time but they were very flexible and added this time onto the final set so we didn't miss out.
We had an amazing wedding and thank Live Wires for the part they played in it.

Comments: From the initial enquiry with Alive Network, about a quote for the service of Live Wires, right through to the performance from the band, was brilliant and Live Wires were truly exceptional – all down to earth, pleasant lads.
There is no pressurised selling from Alive Network and they spent a lot of time dealing with our initial enquiries and giving us quotes for different bands.
On a personal note, if you are looking to book a band for your party – book Live Wires. I have attended a lot of gigs, concerts and party’s and I have never had so much positive feedback from the members of staff with regards to a great night.
Personal highlights for many were the band’s version of Kings of Leon’s ‘Sex on Fire’. I will certainly be booking this band again for my own personal use, but at the same time, I am confused as to why they haven’t got a record deal! You won’t be disappointed.

Comments: I can honestly say that the guys helped to make our evening reception the great night it was.
Many of our guests commented on how fantastic the band were and they managed to get everybody up and dancing.
Our only regret is that we didn’t really get to see too much of them with everything else that was going on.
We were expecting our first dance (Use Somebody) to be to the original artist but the band’s version of the song was excellent and was a welcome surprise.

Comments: We booked Live Wires for our wedding on 20th December 2009 after looking on the Alive Network website and listening to some of their recorded tracks. We have to say that the band far surpassed our expectations and were even better on the night than they sounded on the website!
What we loved was the way they played some of the classic tunes first to get everyone from friends and family up dancing and in the second set played more of the ‘indie’ songs we specifically requested. They got everyone up dancing all night and we had so many comments from people saying they were the best band they’d seen at a wedding.
We also booked the DJ option which worked really well – it kept the party going when the band were having a break between sets. We requested a few more dance-based songs for the end of the night when the band finished and were really impressed they played everything we asked for!
Overall, I would highly recommend Live Wires – the lads were very professional and did a great job in getting everyone up dancing all night!

The standard of music was brilliant; guests were complimenting us on the band, asking where we found them and telling us how good they were. We were contacted by Alive Network and the band a couple of weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was in order.
Live Wires arrived on time, set up with no fuss and put on an absolutely first class performance. I can truly not thank them enough, they way exceeded our expectations, fantastic vocals and so many people commented on how good they are.
The lads were really friendly, looked very professional in their red logo’d shirts and very kindly extended the DJ session by an extra 30 mins.

Comments: Alive Network gives you the piece of mind that you need when organising a wedding. Give them your budget and requirements, listen to examples of tracks bands play online and make your choice - what a fantastic way to deal with it all, it cuts out the middle man!

We cannot thank them enough for making the wedding reception go off with a bang!
As for Live Wires - wow, we didnt expect it! They played our wedding song acoustically for us, when it wasnt on the original play list and the interaction with the guests was first rate! Recommend to anyone 100%.

Comments: I looked at other similar web sites to alive but it was quite clear from the quick responses to emails and ease of use that they were the better compnay to book with
I was extremely happy with Live Wires' performance. I previous discussed a playlist (oldies first then more modern tracks later) and from the first track the whole of the wedding was up and rocking. They looked good and sounded great, many of the guests commented on how good they were and I passed on the company's details.
One guests stated that she was sat outside when they were playing and just thought it was the DJ playing some good songs, she didn't realise that it was these guys playing live, that's how good they were.

The guests really enjoyed the performance, and the lead singer was especially proactive in trying to get everyone into the room / get them dancing, etc. I thought that they were fantastic!

Harvey and I are just about to leave on honeymoon but before we go we just wanted to ask you to pass on a message to the band for us if you would.
We had an absoutely amazing day on Saturday and the Band were just brilliant! They really made the evening for us - everyone loved them, they had us dancing all night and as well as being fantastic musicians they were a really lovely bunch of guys. Thank you sooooo much for making it a fantastic night for us. We would recommend them to anyone! Watch out - I think there could be some London booking requests coming their way!!

We would both like to send our thanks to yourself and the band for helping us. To you for helping us with our wedding entertainment when we were in a bit of a pickle when our band cancelled and to the band for giving us such a good price too under the circumstances.
The band were absolutely fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed them. They were such nice people too and they made our night extra special and got all our guests dancing. All of our guests have been telling us how much they enjoyed them which is brilliant.
