What Have They Done Before?
Live Wires are four expetionally talented musicians who have played professionally for a number of years. John (lead singer) has spent a number of years in covers bands and is often busy writing and recording his own original material. Matt (guitar) has played in front of audiences since he could hold a guitar! He’s played in an internationally successful rock band called “Demon” in front of audiences upwards of 8000 people. Jonny (bass) has been playing bass guitar professionally for over 8 years and is well versed in many styles from funk and soul to rock and indie and is an exceptionally skilled musician. Pete (drums) has played since he was 8 years old and has developed his unique and energetic sound and style. Pete honed his skills session playing with a number of bands with a variety of styles and is a highly versatile playing who’s at home drumming with any genre of music.
What Sort of Music Do They Play?
Live Wires have a varied setlist that is suitable to all tastes and ages. They play a mixture of 60’s 70’s indie rock and modern songs including artist such as The Beatles, Commitments, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis, The Killers, the Rolling Stones, Andy Williams and loads more! Live Wires are guaranteed to be a hit with all ages of guests and will get them all up and dancing all night.
Live Wires will consider any requests as long as it fits their lineup as a 4 piece rock and pop band and they have at least a months notice.
What will the band look like?
Live Wires can adapt their look to suit your theme for the night. They can be formally dressed in black clothes or for less formal events they can be more casual in appearance if you prefer. They have been known to get shirts and ties to match clients colour themes in the past. Just specify to your agent if you have any requirements.
They will do their best to accommodate.
They are a four piece band and need only a stage space of 5 x 4 metres.
Your Event
Live Wires are able to provide a variety of music through the night including an acoustic set and a manned DJ between the live music sets as well as the energetic live set itself for which you can choose from 2 x 45 minutes, 2 x 60 minutes, or 3 x 40 minute sets. They can provide any type of music on CD between sets including chilled out modern funk swing soul and jazz.
Live Wires are incredibly flexible with all aspects of their show. No gig is too big or too far away. They are very adaptable and flexible to any range of room types and always adjust volume levels to suit your, and your venues requirements.
Superior equipment
The band's show uses a 3000 watt full range 16 channel PA system at all performances plus a complete lighting show including a smoke machine 8 x par 64 cans & controller 2 x multi coloured additional lights so you have full stage lighting as well as disco lighting for your dance floor.
Other equipment is high end boutique professional quality including Rivera Bogner and Mesa Boogie amps Fender Gibson and JamesTyler guitars TC Electronics Yamaha & Lexicon rack gear.
