What Have They Done Before?
Live Wires is a collaboration of 4 exceptional musicians who have each been performing in a number of professional bands for many years. Matt (lead guitar) has now been performing to live audiences for a total of 10 years and during this time been in and out of different successful bands. One of these included playing guitar for the rock band “Demon” who earned international success which meant playing on an international level to audiences of up to 8000 people.

John (vocals) has gained experience fronting a semi-professional cover band for a number of years as well as being busy writing his own material. Pete (drums) has played drums since the age of 8 and has now developed a unique and exceptional style. Session playing for the last few years with a number of local bands means Pete has great experience and is a highly versatile player feeling right at home with any style of music. Jonny (bass) has been playing bass guitar on a professional level for over 8 years. During this time Jonny has performed many styles from rock funk soul and more demonstrating his exceptional abilities.

What Sort of Music Do They Play?
Their varied setlist caters for all ages and includes a mixture of 60's 70's indie and modern songs by The Beatles Commitments Red Hot Chili Peppers Oasis The Rolling Stones Andy Williams and many more! You can be absolutely sure that guests of all ages will be up dancing and singing all night.
Live Wires will consider requests provided it fits in with their genre and they have at least 8 weeks’ notice.

What will the band look like?
The band can tailor their look to suit your needs on the night. For Corporate events they can dress formally in black clothes and for less formal events they can dress more casually if you prefer. Just specify to your agent what your requirements are and
Live Wires will do their best to meet any requirement.

The band has a four piece line up and need only a stage space of 5 x 4 metres.

Your Event
The band are able to provide a variety of music through the night including an acoustic set manned DJ between the live music as well as the energetic live set itself for which you can choose from 2 x 45 minute sets or 3 x 45 minute sets. They can provide any type of music on CD between sets including chilled out modern funk swing soul and jazz.

Live Wires are incredibly flexible with all aspects of their show. No gig is too big or too far away. They are very adaptable to a range of room types and always adjust volume levels to suit your requirements.

Superior equipment
The band's show uses a 3000 watt full range 16 channel PA system at all performances plus a complete lighting show including a smoke machine 8 x par 64 cans & controller 2 x multi coloured additional lights so you have full stage lighting as well as disco lighting for your dance floor.

Other equipment is high end boutique professional quality including Rivera Bogner and Mesa Boogie amps Fender Gibson and JamesTyler guitars TC Electronics Yamaha & Lexicon rack gear.
